Singapore is well-known for its one-of-a-kind and breathtaking man-made tourist attractions, making it one of the most favorite destinations in Southeast Asia. One of their gems is the giant indoor waterfall called the HSBC Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world, located in the heart of Jewel, Changi Airport.
Now, the question is: How do you reach this captivating site?
In this post, I will guide you step by step on how to access this iconic indoor waterfall and make the most of your time exploring Jewel.
How to Get To
You might have seen a train passing by above this Jewel waterfall. But the question is, how do you get to the train and see the waterfall from above?
The Changi Airport SkyTrain is one of the transfer you can use in Changi Airport that connects Terminal 1, 2, 3, and Jewel. They have 2 routes, from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 and vice versa and from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 and vice versa.
The route that pass the waterfall is the one from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2.
If your arrival terminal is Terminal 4, then you need to take the Shuttle Bus to Terminal 3 or Terminal 2. Once arrive, enter the Terminal building and follow the sign to the SkyTrain. Then wait at the gate of SkyTrain to/from Terminal 3 or 2. If you are from Terminal 3 the waterfall will be on your right side. If you are from Terminal 2, the waterfall will be on your left side. Be prepared to stand at the waterfall side for clearer view.
